I want her to wear them due to it being my personal fetish plus it is classy and feminine. I find it erotic and visually stimulating but she likes them too. Just that she often more than not wears pantyhose rather than a garter blet and stockings. Buy her some really nice sheer stockings, and always take her out someplace special when she wares them. Tell her how classy they look on her. Sometimes buy her a classy skirt, or dress, and put some nice nylons in the box.

yes.. nowadays girls use metal belts for there pants but I think there are also girls who are wearing a garter belts. For me garter belts is much useful because any waist line can use garter belts than a real belt that has a limit to use belts.

If you have not already, tell her how much you enjoy them. Also, buy her some! Take her shopping for some really nice things that are really comfy (most garters and stockings are not comfortable!) and buy them. plain pantyhose are SO much more comfortable and practical than a garter, no wonder she doesn't want to wear it more often. think of where she's coming from. she'll obviously put her personal needs ahead of your fetishes, and you should respect that. maybe try getting her a realy nice pair just because and tell her how fantastic they would look on her. if this doesn't make her do it, it won't hurt.
