Actually, fitting a bra is really a multi part thing. There is your chest measurement and your cup size, and these are not related. So you are going to measure underneath your breasts to determine what the number will be for your bra, then for the cups, I just try on bras until I find the cup that fits the best. You don't want to be hanging out the top, bottom or sides. Some will say that if you can't find a cup big enough, you can buy a bigger band (say you are a 36, then buy a 38 for extra room) but that doesn't really work, it doesn't properly put your boobs where they need to be. J C Penneys has a great selection of bras for women who are not your average wal-mart sized woman, like me. I'm not so big around but lots in the cup. So I have to hunt for good bras, and JC Penney has best prices and really good bras. I think you will have to special order larger cups than DD tho, if that is your need. Good luck.

Why did you get a bra fitting because you are lonely lol. But I agree when I first got measured I was kind of like huh because I didn't think it was accurate. I guess they make the proper deductions with the measuring tape.

I think they do, I'm not sure about the qualifications for a bra fitter, but VS is really great, they can usually look at you and size you up pretty accurately. But definitely give them a try, I believe Saks does as well.

I think it depends on which JCPeny's you're at?? I know the one closest to me does do bra fittings. And as far as I know, at least one of the women working in that department will be certified to do it...their certification is usually posted on a wall as you enter the fitting rooms.

No, not that I am aware of. But you can go to Victoria's Secret in your mall and they'll size your bust for free.

jc penny does have people who do fittings.. but they vary from professionals to new trainees..
go to NORDSTROMS.. it will be in the same mall as jc penny usually.. and their fitting professionals are really good.. they were even mentioned on the oprah show
