It's supposedly an easy way of letting you down. It's a basic excuse that is used time and time again--basically she's not interested and can't come up with anything more creative.
Or-- you two aren't 'clicking'. Some people will walk into your life, and within a five minute convo, you can feel a strong bond. Some people really look for that click during the first impression, so maybe she honestly just doesn't feel a strong bond that will keep you guys stuck together.
There are plenty of fish in the sea, a connection will come.

well generaly once a relationship first begins the women needs time to realize of this man is the right one for her. so at first she might be meaning there is no way of knowing who you are ( connection) or there might not be enough time put into teh relationship to knwo eachother well enough to have a ( connection)

She doesn't think of you "that way". It doesn't mean it's impossible that she'll come around, but it's not likely.
If you want her, you're going to have to play it cool: don't pay her special attention, hang out with her but don't be too available (i.e., make plans that don't involve her, or tell her that you're busy even when you're not). Don't expect something to develop.

like everyone else said, she doesn't have those feelings for you. maybe she just sees a potential for friendship. find someone who DOES feel that there's a connection.
