Here's what happened, we broke up just a week ago. One day, we got together and then in the evening he just texted me that he was sorry he wasn't able to give me what I wanted and that it's hard for him bec. we have a long distance relationship, i have to travel 3 hours just to see him but we talk everyday via mobile. Then I tried to talk to him to clear things out back then but he wouldn't talk to me and now, out of the blue, he suddenly talks to me and asks me how i am and still says i love you...

He's not your boyfriend anymore, he's your EX.
He probably still loves you but it most likely isn't the same, you should try to get over it.

well he probably doesn't know how to take a long distance relationship. I'm very sure he still really does love you but it's hard on him and also you because I kno you want to be with him and see him all the time

wow thats messed up. a guy just doesnt go from one day knowing if he loves you or not. i know you prolly here this alot but just follow your heart and do whats right. if hes pulled this i love you stuff on you before i wouldnt buy it but if you really believe something is there and it can be fixed again then yes do it. relationships are not easy and it takes two commited people. you never know whats hes doing either when hes not onthe phone wit you. remember that

Things are OK bad times come....... He does love you. Talk with him say him that you want things back to normal. I m sure he will understand. Say him every time I love you whenever you speak with him on the phone kiss him on the phone. DONT U EVER TRY TO BRING EGO IN A RELATIONSHIP

he is just yearning on old feelings because he doesnt know how else to react to them. i'm pretty sure there are two sides of the story. maybe he's just horny.
either way, via text is not a way to have a mature conversation. he's your ex for a reason.

he will soon flyback, if he wasn't it wasn't meant to be.

It sounds as if he is confused and conflicted between his feelings for you and his needs,since his needs are not being met due to your distance he is putting his feelings on the backburner.it sounds like you need to plainly ask him if he still loves you,and ask him what he needs from you that he was not getting.If he cant answer then its time to let him go.
