Johann Guttenberg. He invented movable type printing which allowed information and knowledge to be spread to the masses via books, manuscripts and newspapers. Do you think the word of God would have spread as it has without the bible?

I find an expected range of answers... from God and Prophets to the richest and popular men... but the reference to the common name MOTHER was unexpected... but more rational in the sense it is applicable all over the world.. for all time... cutting across barriers of territory, culture, time... Mother's influence on the sibling is indeed strongest... It is very much true in India and I hope it is the same all over the world... even where divorce culture disrupts family relations...
However in the same vein there could be people who would like to say that it is SATAN who has the maximum influence on the society all over the globe, spreading intoxication, infidels, terror ....
But seemingly random events (for the atheists) read with the lessons on the wall (history) suggests that DESTINY had always saved the world from ruin and planted hope and the will to outlive the evil forces...
Thus there seem to be multiple forces (Personified) weilding popularity all over...!
