since forever. Does this sound suspicous or am I reading too much into it? Why would he want to change all of a sudden after never wanting to wear boxers before? Think he is trying to impress or change for someone else? Or am I just being a dork. I welcome answers from men, but ladies, tell me what you would think too.

I guess my husband's personality would better describe why I am questioning it. He is so set in his ways. He wouldn't budge for anything. He is NEVER open to new ideas, NEVER. If he thinks the sky is purple, than that is what it is. There is no changing his mind. So why all of a sudden is he all for change. He HATES change.

Well, of course I asked him. He said it was "healthier" for him, whatever that means. That is why I am asking you. Doesn't make sense to me. I was just trying to get an outsider's opinion.

I've always heard that if a man starts changing his undie type you should raise an eyebrow. I don't necessarilly believe this. I think that if this accompanies other doubts or strange things............who knows. What you don't want to do is confront him if he's being honest. You also don't want to ignore the situation and let things go until the relationship is beyond repair. So..........if your gut tells you to pay attention. LISTEN. Women who ignore their instincts and ignore are the ones who get screwed.

I don't know except for the fact that boxers have become more popular than briefs. I wouldn't worry about it unless there are other warning signs. Don't get crazy and accuse him of anything and don't start going through all his stuff, etc. Be calm. Everything comes out in the wash!

having worn briefs most of my life, the only reason I tried boxers was because of sweating and itching, and boxers were quite uncomfortable.
Because with boxers, you are "free", you stay drier, but the shorts tend to rub causing chafing.
It may be suspicious, but it may be just wanting to try something different if he's never tried them before.
I would suggest he only buy a few to try out. If he likes them and there is no other reason to be suspicious the ok.
I expect he won't like them and want to just stay with the briefs though.

I don't think it is anything to be concerned about. At a certain point I believe briefs become uncomfortable to a man, so they switch to something more comfortable. My hubby did the same thing a while back and he hasn't acted or done anything to make me think that the change was a sign of him cheating on me. So don't sweat it.

I wore briefs for years, thought they were best but I tried boxers and liked them better, lot cooler in the summer time and more comfortable all around. Lot more freedom down there and my package doesn't get in a bind where I used to do the baseball players fluff!

Calm down, take a deep breath. He is changing underwear styles. This is NOT something that will stop the Earth from turning nor force the weather patterns to change.
You are completely overreacting.

let him try the boxers.. and if you see there is too much of a difference than question it.. i mean is it really a big diff maybe his Friends told him they like it or something.. or maybe it is a middle age thing ... like some men go out and get a hot car to prove to them selves they still got it...could be a mid life crisis .. if it is just clothes i would not worry

What is the big deal? Boxers are sexier #1. Number two, they ARE healthier, if you are trying to have kids someday. Because briefs are tight, it does lower the sperm count. I say, let him wear them. You are used to seeing him in briefs, and may, later, decide you actually like him better in boxers.

nothing to be suspicious about. he probably wants to give the boys some more room. for me, boxers are too spacious and cause a lot of flopping down there, so i wear boxer briefs

I was suspicious too, with good reason. Some other woman bought them for him. She wanted them back too when the affair was over. Psycho, huh?
