The Wii won't exactly be coming "back out". It has already been officially released, but the demand is so much higher than the currently supply that it is selling out as soon as stores are getting them in. Check daily with local video game supply stores, such as Best Buy or Gamestop, or even bigger budget stores like Wal-Mart or Target. Nintendo thinks that by the end of January/middle of February, the demand will have calmed a little making there a constant supply available in stores. If you want one before then, you'll probably have to start waiting early in the morning the day a store is getting them in. Good luck!

Employees of Best Buy and Wal-Mart have reported shipments coming in being held for Sunday 12/31 when the Wii is featured in their weekly circular. That'd be a good time to camp an hour or two early before the stores open to make sure you get one.

It is out and a lot of stores around here have a few. Have you tried calling all the places around you? How about calling the Nintendo 1-800 number to see if they can guide you in the right direction.
