Destroying the Earth is child’s play (if you are a really destructive child), but doing it in only one minute requires more energy than has ever been assembled on the earth at any point in time, even if you include the entire energy generated world wide.

·Create a Nova Bomb that will turn our sun into a nova and do it 8 minutes before you want to destroy the Earth (it takes that long for the light of the sun to reach us.)
·Create a black hole in your home or your school's lab. It might take more than a minute to completely swallow up the Earth, but all life will be destroyed much quicker.
·Create a terraton nuclear explosive and sit on it when you detonate it. You world will end in a flash that will probably take out 1/4 of the world with you. The Earth's core will be breached and the resulting volcanic action will empty a lot of matter out of the core that would cause the entire earth to collapse in on itself thus destroying it.
·Invent the transporter (a teleporting device) and teleport the entire planet into a black hole or next to a neutron star. If you teleport the earth directly into the radiation flair of a black hole, created by objects being ripped apart in the huge gravity field, then the radiation should be enough to sterilize all life on the planet, even on the other side. Then the planet will fall into the black hole. One step smaller than a black hole is a neutron star. It has a huge gravity field, but not strong enough to form a black hole. Instead anything near the surface of the star will be broken down into pure neutronium instantaneously so the earth would be quickly converted into a thin film on the neutron star, death would be almost instantaneously.

Of course if you have earth size teleporting devices then you can just teleport the earth into the core of a sun and be done with it. Or you could just teleport the core and the mantle away, the crust would collapse in the largest earthquake ever destroying all life quickly.

OR, you could get philosophical and just kill yourself, as some people suggest. To YOU the world would end instantaneously. Either way you will die. If you want to SURVIVE the destruction of the entire world in less than a minute would be much harder.

Why would you want to destroy "whole" world? What has "whole" world ever done to you? I don't know that you can destroy "whole" world in a minute, but then again I've never been to "whole" world, I'm stuck here on Planet Earth without so much as a Spaceship to my name. Good Luck On that whole destroying a planet thing. Don't think you are going to be able to do it tho.

Just a Thought... If you really meant this planet, where would you put your stuff, and yourself for that matter, if the whole planet went Kerplooie? It'd be a Tad inconvenient for you to say the least.
And That just sounds Anti-social and rude, Killing almost 7 billion people cause you aren't happy. IT'S JUST NOT RIGHT. STOP THAT! BAD HUMAN!

Enjoy, And Happy New Year.

The world is as seen by you and as felt by you. Your anger, hatred, jealousy, greed( as also your love , empathy, etc) are all in your mind and is your making.. Thus it takes less than a minute to destroy the world , that you have created for yourself.

You destroy yourself. How long will that take? A minute? The world is gone for you.

How can you save the world? Takes a long time . Takes patience and sacrifice and humility. Try 2007 , for a change , to save the world. If you fail then try destrying it at the end of 2007. Give yourself a chance. And the world around you.

First of all why would you want to? What a waste of time, it will still be here because you would not be able to do that ever, unless you killed yourself and that would only take about 5 minutes. Nothing would be a minute?
So now what ? Even the nuclear bombs going off everywhere takes longer than a minute, and since nothing is perfect there would still be people, they might be brain eaters or something like that and then by some miracle there would be some normal folks and a few animals too.

You would never be able to destroy the world. You'd have to be God. No matter what weapon of mass destruction a person would construct, they'd have to have the divine intellectual capacity to make something that not only would destroy all life ON the earth, but blow the planet away itself. I think they've come very close to being able to possibly wipe out a great deal of mankind from the planet though.

I understand your curiosity. I'm sure it's entered quite a few people's minds. Considering the climate of behaviour, is it any wonder?

by doing nothing with your life, by throwing away your existence in some ill-conceived, unserving and pedantic vision of someone else's troubled illusions of what the world needs now. Following, wasting, giving away each breath to something/someone. Not overcoming your own existence, not stepping over your own horizons, not becoming your own Self. Not being all you can be and striving to become more, that is destroying the world in a moment (your world as well as the world of all the Others you touch in your not becoming).

You'd have to zap it to another dimension or something or obliterate everything with a gigantic shockwave.

Like, as they say on the Discovery channel, if the moon ran into the earth, it'd actually take a long time for them to completely destroy one another.

You, to destroy the whole world by yourself, in only one minute ? . . . . . No, not in one minute.

O.k., curiosity satisfied. No, go focus on the New Year.

Stop loving. When we stop loving, the world which we see ceases to exist because they are irrevocably intertwined. The world which we only have a faint notion of also starts to disappear when this happen.
Is that what you want...the world to be gone for lack of love?

Cannot be done.

Of course the next question is can it be done in two minutes?

And is this a New York minutes or a Mississippi minute?
