We should send Saddam, murderers, child molesters, and rapists to Siberia to work 12 hours a day, six days a week for the rest of their lives. Now there is a just punishment.

Personally, I think the entire invasion and capture of Saddam is a farce.
I also think U.S. involvement in his execution will create hysteria and would be a longterm mistake for the USA.
I'm also not clear about the rationale for this conviction. I read about how he authorized the death of many Kurds, however, I also recently read how those Kurds were aiding the enemy at the time ... Iran. Along the country border they had joined forces with Iran in a cooperative effort to overthrow the country and where killed in retaliation?
Help me to understand ... we invaded due to:
-WMD ... no, I mean ...
-Connections between Iraq and Al Quaida ... no, I mean ...
-Missiles pointed at Israel ... no ...
-To free people who never asked to be freed and then subject them to horrific civil war?
Well let's see ... The Taliban would not allow oil corporations to build further pipelines connecting the Caspian to Pakistan ... so the oil mongers had to find a way to get in there and do something about that! I mean, the stockholders wanted their profits, right?
Since a good 50% of Bush's campaign donations came from oil corporations, I'm sure he was obligated to help them out a little, don't ya think?
So now new pipelines, under contract with Halliburton, HAVE been constructed across Iraq (although many are secretly sabotaged and then again repaired). This is a FACT.
Kill Saddam? Maybe he deserves to die. Maybe not. With so many lies being told from the very beginning, I highly doubt the reasons for the conviction are truly legal. I'm very uncomfortable with killing somebody when we really don't know if the truth has been told.
I also wonder if GW feels like rushing off to other countries too, to capture and convict other leaders he feels have committed crimes. Gee, hasn't he broken a few laws himself? And isn't it interesting that he does not believe he would NOT even need a "retroactive" warrant to spy on normal American citizens? What's wrong with justifying the need for the warrant after-the-fact if there was no time to do so beforehand? Who is he, Jesus Christ?
The reason why elections are traditionally held in November is because that's when Americans like to pick the best Turkeys. :-)

This is a duplicate of the answer: The Iraq court of appeals has ruled that he is to be executed within the next thirty days, so the question is moot.
A martyr is someone who dies while standing up for good, and the martyr's followers recognize that he was doing good and unjustly killed. Saddam has none of those things working in his favor.
He's a scumsucking pig. I hope it hurts like hell when they hang him.

Given the cutting-edge months events and the "inner" Iraqi mindset/conflict among they selves, I say; that throughout the previous you place any execution date; Saddam would desire to be enable "loose" upon those cowards whom are killing each and each others women, the old, the harmless, and their infants. human beings like those in basic terms comprehend one element; and that's Saddam. All this romanticism approximately given them their "freedom" on the fee of the lives of our youthful females and adult males contained in the service and ; !!!which "freedom" they have used to "kill and ambush" US and coalition forces must be accomplished away with. Edit: I edited the 0.33 line from the backside, so all the bleeding hearts right here substances me some greater, or ; all the "thumbs down" they could like. fact all hurts ; does not it?
