what new year, i had mine in October!

Samhain (pronounced /ˈsˠaunʲ/) is the word for November in the Irish language. The Scottish Gaelic spelling is Samhainn or Samhuinn (for the feast), or an t-Samhain (for the month).

The same word was used for a month in the Celtic calendar, in particular the first three nights of this month, with the festival marking the end of the summer season and the end of the harvest. A modernized version of this festival continues today in some of the traditions of the Catholic All Souls' Day, the secular Halloween, and in folk practices of Samhain itself in the Celtic Nations and the Irish and Scottish diasporas. The name is also used for one of the sabbat feasts in the Wiccan wheel of the year.

To get rid of all the bad rubbish. Clean out everything and what I dont need get rid of it all. I believe that is the best way to start a New Year, then I am going to stop living for the rest of the world and start living for myself, that way I will be a better person for others.

This year I resolve to be a careful guardian of where I expend my sacred energy. I resolve not to put effort into things that are not nuturing or empowering for me. If I find that some project, other person's agenda is contrary to my higher good I will not participate in that what is causing me to stagnate. I will learn to forgive myself and others and move on to what it is that God is leading me to. I resolve to make this the year that I learn the lesson of forgiveness even before others know that they need forgiveness and move on knowing that no one can stop me from living the abundant, joyful life that GOD is calling me to.
