I am a 17 year old female, and I am dating a 18 year old male for almost a year, and my parents don't like him!! My boyfriend is very respectable, treats me right, plays football and games with 11 year old brother, etc! My parents still have alot of negative energy towards him!! Why? What should I do?

Talk to your parents. Ask them why they don't like him. If they have no viable reason, then you've made a point. They probably don't like him because you are young and you're their daughter and they want to protect you. I had the same problem when I was younger... hell i have the same problem now that I'm older. Just keep the energy positive. Make sure your parents know your boyfriend likes them and respects them.

Talk to your parents about how you feel and how you BOTH feel towards eachother.
Most of the times parents are right and tell you things for a reason.
