With my old CD-RW drive, I used to be able to just drag files onto the CD and add them to the CD-RW disc, however with my DVD+RW, I have to reburn the entire DVD again each time I want to remove or add a file to the DVD+RW?

its not the drive that does it....its the software the drive uses.

Download nero - it has drag-n-drop capabilities like you mentioned

Make sure you're not finalizing the disk when you burn. A finalized disk on an RW requires that the entire ROM be wiped clean and reburnt. Otherwise, Nero or Windows XP should both be able to handle your drag-n'-drop operations.

Did you format the the CD? Secondly.. your computer has a DVD commencing.. does it have a CD commencing.. you already know.. you push a sprint button and it opens and you place your CD in? You indicated that it did no longer.. Mine has the two and that i'm shocked which you do not have the two.. Are you specific? If yours says DVD.. then you particularly can't use it for a CD
