a cheater is very much different from a smoker. a smoker may quit this addictive habit if he be fully informed about the consequences of continuing to do so like you can search in the web where there is help availble for people wanting to quit. Introduce him to chewing gums for substitutes.

What has possessed you to have not one, not two, but three kids with a drug addict? And what is further possessing you to force your poor kids to grow up under these appalling circumstances? Your husband will never quit, because you have let him get away with being a drug head for nine long years. Take your kids and leave, before someone (your kids' teachers, for example) report you and him for child abuse.

I was in your shoes with my first husband. He always said he was going to quit but never did. He smoked up a lot of our money. He ended up leaving me for another woman because I nagged him to death lol. At first I was devistated but realized that it was a blessing. Your husband needs to seek treatment like NA. He is not going to quit for you or your children (if you have any) he has to do it on his own. Good luck

Perhaps trying to find him some help . Its something that affects the family as one and perhaps if he could find a group that might help him see that he might become more focused on quitting. But nonetheless, be supportive especially during his struggles if he decides to quit. Its a difficult battle but not an impossible one

It can be really hard for them to quit smoking. Both my parents smoke and nothing that i've ever said to them has made them smoke on elss cigarrette. I'm very concerned about their health but they don;t seem to care. I guess with these people we just have to let them go their own way till they realize that they should have taken our advice. I gave up months ago trying to beg them to quit.....trust me it doesn;t work, they love nicotine more than they love us!!!!!!!

He needs a reason to quit and you haven't given him one. If the law ever got involved they could take away your children.

ONCE A SMOKER, ALWAY A SMOKER, IF HE HAS NOT
QUIT YET AND IT BEEN 9 YEARS,THEN HE NOT GOING TO
SO YOU NEED TO DECIDE WHAT IS BEST FOR YOU ANDYOUR CHILREN. BECAUSE THIS WILL AFFECT THEM
AS WELL. TIME FOR HIM TO AS THEY SAY PUT IT DOWN
OR YOU ARE GONE. HIS CHOICE.
