I believe its true. If you think about it, if you were wealthy and were able to buy everything you ever wanted.... Do you think you would be happy with just materalistic things without having anyone to share it with? Its great to have anything you've always dreamed of having but its pretty lonely when you don't have love and people in your life. For some reason people who become rich seem to act differently and everyone around them seem to keep their distance from them.

I've heard it's true and I guess it is, but I would sure love to have money to find out. It could make me happy for awhile anyway.

I can only share a story with you about a couple who were married over 60 years, saved every dime they could through the years, had no children. He died in 2002, no amount of money could save his life and in turn he left his wife. She has a disease of the retina in both eyes and has lost the majority of her hearing. She has audio hallucinations and has had to go into a Nursing Home. Money could not fix any of the problems.
To answer your question. No, She is not happy.

Yes, it is true. Money is important for leading the life, but, it would not bring in happiness. Infact, it may bring unhappiness, if it is more.

hahahaha It sure wasn't a poor person who invented that crock of lies. It is damn hard to be happy if you are poor , hungry and without most things so in that case yes, money can comfort people and bring a lot of happiness. If it's just to get greedy then no way. If you are miserable , money won't change that.

I sure could bring a lot of happiness to a lot of people if I had it...we would be so much happier if we didn't have to worry about bills /food /shelter etc.the things that money could remedy.but as was said ..money is not the complete answer.we have to determine our own happiness.with or with out the 'riches'.I't really hard to be happy when you are struggling to survive.so yes money could................

I agree...it cannot bring happiness, but I do believe that if I had a little extra each month I would be a little more at ease.

Happiness is dependent on you. Only you can decide to be happy or unhappy. Money, love, fame, power....mean nothing. It's all in your hands.
