I think he means like Windows system restore. Sorry buddy but a Mac can't do that; at least not until the new Mac os comes out.(it has an app called time machine)

Hi joe,

You put in an earlier version of the Mac OS X installation disk #1. Restart the Mac while holding down the "C" key. This will boot your Mac from the CD instead of your Mac's hard drive. Is that what you mean.

Do you mean recover files or you want to install and earlier OS

Just un-install Tiger. If the previous system folders are intact you should be ok.
