I am interested in Chanel make-up and I have read a lot of reviews
but I am wondering if the price is really worth it. Does anyone know
about the compact "Double Perfection" by CHANEL. Also is MAC
any good. Most of thier products have confusing names (like
numbers) and not color descriptions. Are MAC products any good
or are they also too pricey for what they give. THANKS :)

I use Chanel Teint Control Extream powder, it's the best, but it's pricy! I'm not too keen on thier liquid foundations although it's been ages since I used one, thing I find is if you get the right colour with Chanel it's great. I don't use MAC but my friend does, they're much cheaper than Chanel but my friend says they're good.

I love chanel but even though chanel is more exspensive mac definately wins and it never fades like mac is all I will use I love it. But I love chanel I have 27 nail polishes 6 purses 3 perfumes 2 earrings and more I love it.

MAC is great for blush and eyeshadow.
Chanel's lipsticks tend to stay on longer than other brands because they have more pigment but that are not too dry or dull. Chanel lipsticks (hydrabase) are worth the money.

hmmm...i just got mac make-up for christmas, and i heard that the bronzer is amazing and makes your skin look perfect...but when i put it on i was kind of disapointed. but then i noticed that my skin looks GREAT in pictures with it on. i think you'll be disappointed with chanel make up, and mac eyeshadow is SOO amazing- and the MASCARA from mac IS SO PERFECT! its like impossible to get clumps from wearing their mascara. if you were to buy 1 thing from mac, i would DEF tlel you to get the mascra- i loveloveloveeeeee it. even if you TRIED to give yourself clumps, it wouldn't work, because it's soooo amazing. chanel i hear is about the clean look- sooo if you want your skin to like look amazing it will probably be too light or something since that's waht chanel is all about. chanel eye shadow sucks too, my mom had some, you might as well just buy it from walmart or something. mac make up is DEFFFFFF the besttttt.

I am a huge Mac fan and think it is well worth the money! I LOVE it! If you have a mac store near you, they can help you find your right shade and what looks good on you. If you don't have a store near you, their website will give you tips on how to find your color. HTH

Well MAC makeup is awesome it never fades!
Chanel is just expensive...but if you want to buy chanel mascera for 50 dollars be my guest...
But MAC is the BEST

chanel is a pretty penny but its nice quality. mac is trendy and youthful and not too expensive. mac's studio fix rox!

They are both really good lines...Probably on of the best! Honestly you can't go wrong. Whatever you can afford and just mix it up. Bare Essentials, Christian Dior, Stila, Loreal, Clinique and Lancome are all good.
