i MiSS SHARONA! SHE iS WAY TOTALY BETTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i HATE ABSOLUTELY HATE NATALiE! well not HATE but i mean she beats Sharona by like a total light year! like 100000000 light years! anyone know why she left the show?

I absolutely love Monk!!! That show rocks!!! I believe it was because her life was threatened while she worked with Monk, and she couldn't stand working with him, supporting Benji, dealing with her ex, and having the life threatened.
** lol ok, after reading everyone else's comments, I guess I'm not as big a fan as I thought! I knew that the lady that played Sharona wanted more money than they would give, but I didn't realize how they got rid of her character for the show.

Actually Sharona went back to her ex-husband in New Jersey, that was the explanation the show gave. Natalie is Okay, but she'll NEVER top the character of Sharona.

The actress that played Sharona asked for more money than the show would pay so she split.
On the show, Sharona went back to her good-for-nothing husband. Go figure.
I like Natalie. She's funny. Her daughter is funnier, but your right, not as funny as Sharona.
