We don't ask politicians to review movies and music so why do we expect actors, actresses, and musicians to have a valid opinion about government and policy. A few, of course, take the time to study and learn about politics and government, e.g., Ronald Reagan and Gov. Schwartz. such that they become qualified. Those two got elected to the most populous state in the union and Reagan had 8 years of experience as governor before running for the White House. He also had years of experience in politics as leader of the Screen Actors Guild and later making speeches around the country.
Oprah has a highly rated TV show and has made alot of $$$--this does not qualify her for the White House. And then her views would make Joe Stalin look like a conservative!

Nope. She doesn't want to be President. She is, or was backing Condalisa Rice, though! Sort of. And they say it ticked Hillary Clinton off! After everything that Mrs. Clinton had done to help her, although Oprah didn't need her help.
I think Hillary Clinton has the best shot.
But that is not certain, they were saying America would elect a Black man before electing a woman of any color.
Well, that's sort of the way things have been running. Black men were freed from slavery and declared equal, as far as the vote.
That was long before the same was done for women of any color.
Still, I was shocked to hear it might go that way again. Cause' I thought we had gotten to the point where it is the person that matters above all else.
And I still think we are going to rise above that, this time.
Let's hope we have come farther than that, right?
If we should pick a black President, like Obama, let's hope it is because we really wanted him.
And not just to keep the once established pecking order.

I watch Oprah all the time and admire her, but I think she doesn't put herself out there enough to warrant a presidency... Who you vote for is about original ideas and Oprah is great for agreeing and in some cases disagreeing with ideas of others but doesn't have many new ideas of her own... she needs to bring out more controversial issues to her program. She is to wrapped up in herself and her guests to get controversial and risk ratings... running America is about people struggling to keep themselves out of poverty and offer their young ones a future and not about expensive lifestyles of the rich or Hollywood. That's called escapism and not reality.

If she ran and showed me she knew what she was doing? I'd vote for her if I felt she was the best candidate, for some reason I doubt that would be the case..
