I have been shopping at TJ max and marshalls for years, and they both seem to have similar things and similar prices.For years I have been debating with myself which one was better and I just can't seem to figure it out. I was just curious to know which one you thought was cheaper/better

They are both cheap and name brand. There are minor differences in items like marshalls has many uggs and tjmaxx has many other things.

Theyre pretty much the same but it's like Walmart and Target. While TJ maxx being Walmart for it's ever lowing prices. They have good name brands but they just cant compete with Marshalls. Pluss if u'd walk into a TJ maxx store it is most likely unorganized. Marshalls has a section for everything and everything has a section. The other day my sister bought home this Sean John leather jacket with real furr. U can tell it's not fake because Marshalls price was 166 or 86 dollars and the compared price was 689 dollars. Marshalls is by far the best out of the two! But that's comin from a 13 year olds opinion!

Actually, they are both owned by the same company, TJX, so they're pretty much the same. I've found I can get better clothes at Marshalls, but lots of home stuff at TJ Maxx. Either way, you can't really go wrong if you're comparing the two.

Ive been shopping at both of them for eveveveveverrrr. I think it depends on which one you shop at. the Marshalls by my house is such a mess, but of course, everything is great prices. TJ MAX is much neater and they sell Jewelry. besides jewelry. I think they mostly sell the same things. I usually see the same things in both stores.

They, along with Homegoods, are owned by the same parent company. Each individual store varies, so I suppose it depends on the area. I have seen some fabulous things in each though.
Marshalls carries Harajuku Lovers (Lamb)
TJMaxx carries more Miss Sixty.
Both have Uggs.
Generally I think Marshalls has better sales.

i think tj max has a bigger selection of everything, clothes shoes purses, plus all that stuff for your house. i know the other does too but i think prices and quality are better at tj max.

they are pretty much the same. i like TJ's a bit better bc theres one that is close to my house. They have tons of nice perfumes and i can always find something cool. the women's clothes arent that great but there are always some good mens clothing.

well there both from the same compony, so that explains it, i preferr TJ MAXX becuz it usually has more better teen clothing, there both the same prices
