To give you an idea, everything they do, with exceptions, has the goal of NOT hurting their opponent. All of the old school wrestling moves(the ten punch, scoop slam, leg drop, piledriver, etc.) are focusing on LOOKING painful but not BEING painful. There have been accidents, but much less injury than if it was intentional. Since fans have grown to be more and more bloodthirsty, the maneuvers have become much more dangerous. Hell in a Cell, the Elimination Chamber, TLC, and the inferno match are all examples of "real pain" environments. You can't fake the dent in the chair, the pain Joey Mercury felt from the Armageddon incident, or the flames that were on MVP. So to answer your question-in a regular stipulations match-no, but in "ultra-violent" matches like the matches that see weapons like steel, wood, and fire-absolutely.

Yes, they sometimes get hurt. They also sometimes cut themselves with small razor blades that they hide to make it look like they got hurt. Most, if not all, WWE events are staged. It is like a play where the actors hit each other. Even though they are careful, they sometimes really get hurt because what they are doing is so dangerous. I actually have a lot more respect for WWE wrestling after finding out that the whole thing is more or less scripted. I think it takes more talent to put on the show then it would if the wrestlers were actually fighting.

The punches and kicks shouldn't hurt.Every move that makes you land your back in the ring hurts.A suplex would hurt. Also know that if you want to be a WWE wrestler,you have to travel on the road 365 days a year.That takes a toll on your body overtime. they do and they dont.

in the ring they dont, they wrestle. they make it look real, and they have to work together to perform a good match. people that are often in fueds together like Rey and Eddie, John Cena and Edge, Triple H and Shawn Michaels, in real life they are friends, hence why they put on such great matches.

wretlers do actually fight in teh locker room, although not often in WWE. in WCW they did, as Eddie Guerrero tells in his new book, cheating death, stealing life. this was one of teh reasons why so many people left WCW because of the backstage politics, and why it was run out of buisness.

nooo there just over there having fun sitting in the riing drinking a cup of coffee and talking amongst themselves of course its real.Of course they really fight...The only things that are fake in the wwe company is the storylines.They all call in a meeting about once a month and talk about some upcoming fueds and battles/rivalries.

It is made to look as real as possible without causing injury but there are sometimes that the action - punch, chop, etc - is real. Most are friendly with one another so when it happens it is not out of spite but there are some places that you can hit someone wide open and that is just the business of sports entertainment
