I think the south park episode summed it up perfectly with it's episodes about Muhammad and censorship. I have watched quite a few episodes and none have ever really made me laugh. I definitely do not lack a sense of humor or have weird taste. I simply think that it falls way below the comedic bar set by the Simpsons and Southpark If you think it is actually funny, then you have to give me a link with what you think is the most hilarious video or transcript to prove your point. If you can make me laugh, not just smile, you will get the best answer. I will pick the one that makes me laugh the most(if at all) or the first one to make me laugh in the unlikely event that they all do. I don't want a simple response saying something like, "you are wrong and dumb, it is the funniest show ever." I need some proof. Because personally, I think it should have stayed canceled. Seriously. Why would they try to bring it back to life again? It still sucks.

I do find it funny, but a different type of funny than the Simpsons or South Park (both of which are hilarious).
I find Family Guy of late has little actual storyline, and relies extensively on drawn out, unrelated one-liners that they've turned into side clips.
For example, while having a conversation in, say, the kitchen, Peter may say to Lois, "I hope this works out better than that time I was garbageman", and then it cuts to a clip, anywhere from 5 seconds to 3 minutes in length, that's a joke not at all related to the story, and hit and miss as far as being funny.
As far as a specific clip that's funny, try typing "Family Guy tetris" into YouTube. It's a short clip from the show that's one of the side jokes I ragged on above, where Peter plays the part of a Tetris "long bar". If you've played Tetris extensively, it'll be funny. If not, well, just type in "Family Guy fart", and there will be dozens of clips.
If jokes about Tetris and farts don't make you laugh, I'm sorry to say, your sense of humour will likely go unfulfilled with this show.

I agree with you a 100%. I watched Family Guy and I couldn't grasp the humor at all! I've tried watching Simpsons and Southpark and I can't understand those either! What's even worse is that my 40 year old parents LOVE Southpark. I'm so confused! One show on comedy central that I just started watching is Reno 911. I think that show is really funny and you should check it out.

I myself have yet to find any humor in the Family Guy. My husband loves it and laughs out loud when he watches it and I have tried to watch it with him a couple of times. I just found it gross and stupid and I just didn't get the humor in it at all.
So thank you because I seem to be the only one around here that can not find humor in that show.

i agree with you! the whole show is based on a very basic story that is then stuffed with random scenes that have nothing to do with the story. you can tell that they will do anything to get laughs and half the time it's not even funny. i agree that it should stay cancelled, but i hope they bring back FUTURAMA!

I find it funny but I also think it is very overrated. The writing also isnt that good, its just a bunch of random scenes and there is never a real, clear story to it.
