Hmm, this is a quiz show question.

The only clue I can offer is that on the VERY rare occasions when they have disclosed the answer AND how they reached it, you get some REALLY odd ways of working things out.

For example:-

2 hundred + twelve +
eighty+8 +
2 * two

*might break down to equal*

200 + 12 ( 2+0+0+1+2 = 5)
80 + 8 (8+0+8) = 16
2 * 2 (4)

So using the appalingly bad way of working out one of their similar puzzles, the "answer" to this could be 5164 - or if added 5+1+6+4 = 16

Reasonable?
Fair?
Honest?

Of course not, but how else do you safeguard thousands of pounds being won by someone within moments.

If you MUST play these games, then only enter via the web - your chance of wining is the same (exceedingly slim) but at least you are not screwed royally in the process.

200 + 12 + 80 + 8 + 2 x 2 = 604
200 + 12 + 80 + 8 + (2 x 2) = 304.

I say 304 if it's not a trick question (which I believe it is because it is half numbers and half letters). The end of the question is missing from the main screen, which is why I think there is so many 302s.

"numbers"?

I see three numbers that add up to 12 if it's a trick question ...

otherwise:

200 + 12 = 212
212 + 80 = 292
292 + 8 = 300
300 + (2*2) = 304
