30 gig is 7,500 ( 4 minute songs )
the screen is about 2 inches ( diagnol )

i have the 30gb ipod video, and it is everything-and-more for space.
although, i do not have many movies.. mainly songs. the good thing about the 30gb rather than the 80gb is that it is MUCH thinner. the 80gb is much too thick for my taste.
the screen is a little over 2" in width, its a fairly good size to watch movies on. although it is a bit big compared to its friend the ipod nano.
overall, i really like the 5th gen ipod video.. :]

its 7,500 songs, and the screen is 2 inches...it should be big enough...

I did not know that iPods are cell phones, or you are in the wrong category. I think it's the 2nd one.
