Have you ever heard of someone saying this in this situation before?

It's a taunt. Most good, humble basketball players don't taunt and only insecure people show off.

Since the person doing the yelling also did what I assume is a decent job of balling...."Get Some" could refer to jumping ability, like "get some hops" or just a little bit more insult with just plain ole "get some skills dog"....

It would probably mean "get some baskets in" because he had just blocked you and so by that you just missed a shot, if this irritates you i would go back at him and shoot over him to prove that he's block was a fluke.

means he's cocky and thinks its cool to block someone, although it's still part of the game

if he does make a big deal out of one block, that's because he knows he can't do it again

It's like a manly thing. he blocked you meaning he is better than you. i know because i am a shot blocker. it's like double jeopardy too. you already blocked him which is a disgrace in it's own then you still trash talked.

next time....dont drive it in the paint...stop and pop....if he still blks u then u indeed do suck...

but its ok...everyone get blked and gets to told to "get some" @ some point in their life, even the pros do, **** Yao ming and Mutumbo blk the **** out of everyone, but they go right back and try it again, but they get stuffed again...so...

just dont give up...cuz they everyone is gonna laugh @ u cuz u quit
