I probably am not eligble for assistance, I dont know because of income eligibilities, but the cost of living is so high and im not the type to ask for help, im very independent, but worried at the same time

Look up the website for the department of human services in your state, or look up welfare in your state. You will either find eligibility calculators or income limits on the site. A pregnant person counts as two people for income limits. Sometimes students have special eligibilities as well. You should look into WIC, which provides some nutritious foods to expectant mothers and children, and provides infant formula if you don't choose to breastfeed. You may be able to get assistance for day care also. Don't forget to file for child support. The attorney general's office in each state is who handles child support. You don't need a lawyer to be able to get it, and you don't need to have been married to the baby's father. If the baby's father denies that he is the father, the attorney general's office will order a dna test. In some states, if it turns out that he is the father he will be required to reimburse the state for the test.

When i got pregnant i didn't have insurance. My then fiance now husband did not want for us to get assistance for the baby. but we realized we had to. If you ask him now, he's still upset about it but knows it was they right thing to do. We were denied help because according to the system we made too much money. We contacted a state funded hospital and found out about a program they had where you paid a certain dollar amount over time depending on what type of delivery you have. So even though i was uninsured and had an emergency c-section, (which can cost over $20,000) i paid $3,000. And because my baby was born there and our low income my baby had medicaid for 1 year which allowed us time to get established. I know that worried feeling all too well. I found out i was pregnant at 20 weeks and delivered at 36. Don't let it take away from the joy your baby will bring to you. Good Luck.

i will't answer for a nmom in any respect. besides the indisputable fact that, most of the circumstances we were presented with were women human beings of their late 20's with latest little ones and jobs that appeared to me were probably above the poverty line (40k or more beneficial). some were married yet not continually to the daddy of the toddler they were wearing. besides the indisputable fact that, maximum were unmarried and the daddy of the youngsters they were relinquishing were frequently not the daddy of the youngsters they were raising or they were the fathers yet were not actively fathering their latest little ones. there have been very few of them that stated (atleast of their profiles) that funds were the reason they were relinquishing. I even do not understand in the experience that they were being straightforward--i'd see no reason that they'd lie about it. basically my experience and that i do not understand if the above is the norm. it kind of feels to me that the organic fathers extra very much effect a moms selection to relinquish extremely than basically funds. Going it on my own replaced into probably difficult sufficient the first time and many wrote up they basically did not favor to attempt this back and wanted to concentration on the toddler/ren they'd.

i truley understand how you feel. baby never come right on time i guess. i am 20 weeks. i am full-time student and i am working full time too. way i see either we quit school just working.. or we can get a financial aid from school. most of school provide financial aid for low income students, and school provides day care programs too if you are in full time. best way if you can get a scholarship, school is going to be fine but i am not sure they are able to take care of your financial status. try to check with your school first. see if they can help this situation.and don't worry too much. babies are come to this world in many worst situation. what if you are sick or you are in complication with your pregnancy? sounds like you are very well self oriented person. i am sure your luck come true as well as with baby too.

You should at least get on medicaid through the department of human services, it will pay for all of your doctors appointments, medications(if needed), and the delivery of your child... Also you should get on WIC, helps you with milk, eggs, juice, beans, cereal, and formula for your baby... There is also a number you can call for financial help...In tx it's 211 but I dont know if that applies everywhere...You can call an operator and they will tell the number for financial assistance..You can also go through certain churches that help with diapers, clothing, canned goods, and help out with the bills(no proof needed)just a social security card and an id...good luck and congratulations on your miracle...and dont worry there is help out there for you and your child..

Thank you for not aborting this baby too. There isn't a lot you can do if you aren't eligible for food stamps, wic or medicaid. It doesn't hurt to try these things. All they can do is say no. If you need a friend to talk to that's been where you are, feel free to instant message me. angels_among_us7777

Just call the medicaid office in your area and ask if there is any type of assistance for someone in your situation. Most likely there might be, don't be afraid to take help if you need it.

apply for assistance anyway even if you dont think you are eligable. They caseworker may know of other programs available for students. Another moneysaver is buy secondhand items. Most things only get used for a few months and are in really good condition. The only thing I bought new for my kids were their carseats and neither one of them suffered on bit from thrift store clothes

You can go to the state and apply for food stamps..You can also get on Wic to help pay for formula and milk, cheese etc...You can also go to your local church and ask them if there is any thing they can do for you..We all need a little help once in a while so don`t let it bother you..As long as you only use it for help untill your situation improves and you don`t abusie the system..Good luck to you!!
