Probably. Plecos are sensitive fish. Im not familiar with Ick Be Gone, as ive only used Jungle Ick Guard. They make Ick Guard for scaleless fish but i just used Jungle Ick Guard at half dosage since i had to treat a clown loach and my store didnt have Ick Guard II in.
I also used aquarium salt and i bumped my heater up to 82 degrees and added an air stone.

I dont think so, and even if it does see how many fish are in your tank most all of them will probably die from ick so the question is is you plycostomus worth more than your whole tank. another solution is take your plycostomus out of the tank and put in a small contaner while the treatment and put him back in after it is done. Read the warning labes on your medicine they are usally always theral so se if it says anything about plycostomus. But then again I don't think it will effect him.

The ich meds are hard on all fish, but ich untreated is worse. Often some fish will only have it on the inside of their gills. In any case plecos are not scaleless catfish, or invertebrates so they aren't more at risk than most fish. Pleco in fact are fairly heavily scaled. I've never lost a pleco to an ich treatment.
