i beleive this so called right hand man was a really good friend and sort of a man friday to him or a personal butler so to speak.yrs.ago thier was an artical written about this man.i was just wondering if anyone knew of this also?I did get one answer she said tonto.no he was with the lone ranger,but thanks.good try.

Not sure what you mean by "right hand man?" Frederick Whittaker wrote dime and nickel novels about Custer and wrote "A Complete Life of Gen. George A. Custer" after his death. Was this friend with him at Little Bighorn?
