Some say that Abercrombie will be in a lot longer than Hollister because it's the original, classic brand. Others say Hollister will be in longer because it's newer & fresher. I want to spend some money on clothes from one of the stores, for things that should last a while. Like jeans. So where should I buy from, based on which will stay 'in' longer? Hope this wasn't too confusing, thanks!

I agree. Neither. Both expensive stores keep up with the styles and trends which are always changing. Although I do opt on Hollister.

If you are buying jeans, it doesn't really matter, because they are a classic staple anyway, but I think that Abercrombie jeans are too pricey, I would go with Hollister. But, I think that Hollister will go out of style sooner, although I have a feeling it will be around for a long time.

Though Abercrombie and Fitch started out as a hunting store, it has still stayed strong since 1892, going bankrupt only once. I have a feeling that both Hollister Co. and Abercrombie will stay "in" for a while, and even if they don't, who cares? The clothes are really cute.

They will both die, slowly and painfully. Then, everyone who clings to these stores will be clueless as to where to shop and end up wearing a barrel on the street corner! Bwahahaha!

well...the are the same company...i kno that all of their clothes last a long time...but hollister is usually cheaper..i think hollister jeans are way cuter tho!!!!

neither will- they are too popular! but if one was to go out of buisiness, it would probably be abercrombie because its so expensive. hollister's stuff is made better anywas and its thicker.
