Yes, it's time for the gallows.

An adviser to Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki said Saddam would be executed before 6 a.m. Saturday, or 10 p.m. Friday EST. Also to be hanged at that time were Saddam's half-brother Barzan Ibrahim and Awad Hamed al-Bandar, the former chief justice of the Revolutionary Court, the adviser said.

I am personally (generally) against the death penalty.

However i believe that the decision can only be made by the Iraqi people, which in this case they have. In this case, it also seems the only solution, due to the security threat it is unlikely he could be secured within a jail within Iraq's boundaries therefore he will have to be secured within an allied jail, which could increase attacks aimed at getting him released.

In short, in this case, yes I think he should be put to death, firing squad would be a more humane approach though I think.

i'm fantastic with the death penalty for Saddam. Are you fantastic with a "loving" God which could forged the immortal souls of all those who die with out accepting Jesus Christ as their personal savior into the fires of Hell for all of eternity? no count number how undesirable any of my little ones grew to change into out, i could not do some thing like that.

If he were on top again and deciding if someone else would die he would not hesitate at all and it would be all over in thirty minutes not thirty days and he would not agonize over the decision while he was thinking it over

The decision was made by the Iraqi people and the courts up-held that decision.
