Yeah, I'm Muslim and I do admit that wearing a full veil covers their faces that identify themselves.

Wearing that veil is something that those extremist radical Muslims in Saudi Arabia believe in and is just something they made up. They're really full of crap.

There is no reason why we should HAVE to see their faces. Women don't HAVE to wear the niqab (veil) over their faces, but they get reward from doing it. If they are not harming or offending everybody else, then there is no reason why they should stop. Although I understand what you mean about covering the smile.

Edit: Let me also add that women who do wear niqabs know that there are times when they have to show their faces eg in their passport photos, liscence photo, and other stuff for security reasons, and they do, so what is the problem with them wearing it at other times?

that is a good question, how do they manager with their picture bus passes do they all use the same picture. and as it is against the law to go into a bank with your head cover with a crash helmet , should that not be applied to them as well there is a wonder that the criminal element have not picked up on this loop hole . what i think that a person that comes to this country should abide by this countries laws , no matter what their religion says, I have nothing against the Muslim religion, but it is that religion that is causing the segregation, you try and say hello or may a friendly jester to a Muslim woman , and here husband or boy friend is around the first thing they want to do is fight you . these people bring their segregation on their self by not mixing with the people in the community

Its not required for the women to cover her face also. Most people don't. Its a common practice in some islamic countries but each country follows different laws and ways of living. While in some countries, such as pakistan, women sometimes dont even wear the normal hijab, in others there are laws that require women to wear them. hope i helped :)

no doubt this question will cause a lot of debate from both sides

Have you never heard the saying 'the eyes are the windows to the soul', or that someone has 'laughing eyes,' you can tell a lot by looking into peoples eyes.
