Although I totally disagree with the US invasion of Iraq and think the trial was fixed and a farce to benefit Bush, Saddam is a criminal (put there in the first place by an evil government) and he does deserve to die.

If they kill Saddam, then why don't they kill all the regime rulers in the World too?
Even the American government enslaves it's own people. I'm forced to pay $1200 each month for one child. Many divorced men all over America are forced into paying extreme high payments or face enprisonment.
Who lives in a regime now?

For sure, he deserves to die. However, I don't think he should die. He would cause more anger towards America as a martyr than someone in jail

No. I am against the death penalty. I think that death shouldn't be used on anyone. Also, he'd probably have a worse time prison. He doesn't know anything (that's already been established), so no one will try to break him out or anything.
Sanctity of already living life, man.

does everyone know that he killed millions of his own people? Does everyone know that when he got bored with the usual methods of killing people that he drove busloads of people off cliffs and buried them alive? He's are real treat. But, living is probably his best punishment. And who knows after he dies... he can join Hitler and all his other good friends in hell.

Heck yeah. Consider all the injustices he has done to the Iraqi people and all the murders he has committed. He deserves more than death. His body should be mutilated and cut into itty bitty pieces and served to wolves.
lol =)
