Absolutely! If you have the facts (and they are facts, not just opinions) you can start the process of change with those that are affected by your issue. Look at Make a Difference Day in Parade magazine every year. Many times it is 1 teenager that starts the ball rolling to help a cause come to light and get solved.

not a big difference.. but you can make a little difference which hopefully will get others involved and together you can make a big difference

here are some things I beleive in
1) pets who are not for show (cats and dogs) should be spayed and neutered for their own health and so they dont make more kittens and puppies which will wind up being put down due to lack of homes

2) humans are at risk from over population so each couple should only have 1 kid.. having 2 is too many since we are not dying as young as we used too... at 6.5 Billion and growing we are destroying our own planet at an allarming rate

3) bad spelling is excusable... intentionally misspelling to be cute is stupid

4) reduce - reuse - recycle... and dont wear fur

5) gay marriage is ok - who is it hurting??

6) abortion is ok - too many kids being born addicted to cocaine or whatever and the "prolifers" wont adopt them....

7) too much TV before the age of 5 causes Attention Deficit

Yes.

Everybody can make a big difference if what you have is credible and if you're making sense. Plus, you have to work hard to make a difference.

That's where it breaks down I guess. Most teens doesn't have determination to work real (as in REALLY) hard. Hence, people tend to say teens can't make a big difference.

But it's just a matter of your personality and character, really.
