Yes, I always get depressed when Christmas is over with. There's always this great big buildup for Christmas and then once it comes, that's it.

The following day there are barely any Christmas movies on television, most radio stations have already stopped playing Christmas music and stores are already starting to put their decorations back into storage until next year.

It's too bad that things end so abruptly, especially when many people are still celebrating Christmas througout the week. I'd like to see the whole Christmas spirit thing continue until New Year's Eve, but once Christmas day has come, things should gradually start declining with each passing day.

I think if things did die down gradually, I wouldn't get so depressed over the Christmas season ending.

Yes,and no. I am depressed that I Took down all the Decorations today, but NO in that means 2007 is just around the corner and I can start working on the plans I have for myself for this next year. Like finding a job and making things easier in this house.

Yes. There is all this build up for Christmas (the shopping, planning, cooking, etc.) and within a matter of hours it is over.

However, another part of me is relieved. We have already taken our tree down and look forward to starting 2007!

The sooner Christmas is over, the closer we are to spring, then summer. YEAH!

The absolute best time of the year! Birds singing, sunshine,a wake up,actually! Less time on this! And cheer up Honey, the best is yet to come!

Christmas was nice, but I'm glad it's over. I can't wait until the New Year gets here, then I'll be counting down the days until Spring.

Nope. You may suffer from post holiday depression though. There are things you can do to beat it though!

1. Keep Winter decorations out (snowmen etc)
2. Burn candles
3. Do an outdoor winter activity
4. Place white lights around a tall houseplant and have a "winter tree"

Nope. Christmas was very uneventful. It came and passed with no excitement. I'm depressed I have to take the Christmas tree down but that's about it. :P

No, quite the opposite as it signals the end to rampant consumerism for another year, quite the reverse of what Christmas is supposed to be about. Besides, I live every day as if it were Christmas, and I don't wait around to be good and generous for one day of the year, I am that way every day.(I hereby apologize for how that sounds).
