I like Carrington actually. I think I would like it with a K too. Kerington. Keri is a cute nickname too.

Kind of similiar to Sheridan or Kennedy.

Baby girl, I don't know. I once read that a person's name can really contribute to there self esteem. Hum I kind of have to agree. My brother HERMAN has never really be too confident. If there is a special attachment or meaning behind it go for it, but I hope its a good one. No matter how much you like it your child has to live with it forever....or insult you in the long run by changing it anyway...

Wasn't there a prime time soap that had a character named "Carrington?" My opinion, ICK

I'm not a fan just because it sounds too much like a last name and there is no real nickname for it. It also is unclear of the child's sex, kind of like the name Adrian.

However, names are becoming more and more unique so what the hell lol...

I'd think Mom was way too into soap operas.

Especially this one:

Even if it wasn't for the 'Dynasty' connexion (which is going to be very strong for people of a certain age) -- it still seems contrived in a soap-opera-esque way.

Or a pornish way.

It does not sound like a 'real' name. Trust me, it's no fun to go through life with a name people think you made up.

It sounds more like a last name and I think people might shorten it to Carri or something

It's horrible. Even if it were a real name, it sounds and looks more like a boy's name. Regardless, it's not a good first name.

It is pretty. It does sound a bit like a last name. But depending on her actual last name, this might be perfect.

would she go by Carrie for short? Ive always loved the name Carrie.... its a rather proper name, and she might get teased a bit.. but I think its cute

I think it's too long. She might be picked on unless you have a cute nickname or middle name you could call her instead, maybe Carrie.
