Maybe some of them are frightened of responsibility or of failing as a father. Ultimatley, it a self fullfilling prophecy, because if they don't give their children the time of day, they are going to be seen as failures. Other times, it is because there is such hostility between separated parents, that they allow it to come between them and their child. I think people should just be able to put their differences to one side when children are involved. It is not fair to screw their kids up, because they are selfish and immature. This goes for both genders, in case I am accused of discrimination or sexism.

Some people just don't want to be accountable for certain things in their life. Having responsibility is something some people just can't seem (or don't want) to handle.
Other than that, I have no idea.

They have no basic concept of caring, sharing and nurturing, the biggest problem is that it is not their fault, they seriously do not know any better."
WHAT???
Is this based on any actual biology, or just your opinions.
I did hear this argument in a film once saying 'men can't commit, they have the hunter-gatherer instinct' Despite the fact that women have more affairs than men.
But if we're just basing our own views as science, then I would say that since mothers are much more likely to abuse their children, then all women don't know any responsibility because their neanderthal ancestors just sat in the cave waiting for their man to provide for them.
To conclude: The fact I mentioned about child abuse is true, my stated opinion on it is a load of crap.

I do not know. But an educated guess. I would say are culture has come to accept the fatherless child and it is no longer a real taboo. You could argue that both men and woman are at fault for this social problem?

Maybe because they failed to win custody of their children after the relationship with there partner ended, and as a result can only see them a couple of times a month?

Because they are p*ssy's. Plain and simple. They want to get laid but dont want to take responsibility for their actions. It makes me sick. I have never even seen a picture of my father or talked to him. What a weak cold hearted person to leave a child to fend for themselves.

Maybe it's easier to be distant from their children because they didn't carry the baby nine months and give birth.
