First i am a high school junior.my best friend last year did something bad for our friendship that had to do witha guy, so were not friends anymore.now i have a group of really good friends but i dont really consider any of them a best friend.we share secrets, hang out, help each other out and stuff like that as a group.is it weird??

There is nothing at all wrong with not having a specific "best friend". It sounds like you have a lot of good friends you can count on, don't bother with slapping labels on them.

what you are doing is actually better than having 1 best friend, as long as they are people you feel safe in sharing personal feelings and problems with. eventually there will be 1 or 2 that will come to the front of the pack. keep up the good work. if you are having trouble confiding in people or trusting people, than get some good counseling. they will help you get over the times when good friends have let you down and will help you to know how do deal with future let downs so they don't have such a big negative impact on you. if you are having a problem trusting people and you don't get it resolved, you will take this issue into marriage and it will negatively affect your relationship with your husband. hope this helps.

No... it is not weird at all... Since u have a group of good friends, that's good enough... having more than one friend is always better than just having only one best friend.

No nothing is weird about not having a best friend
it sounds like you have alot of really great friends so take advantage of that
if your happy eith your friends you dont need a best friend

no i don't think it is weird. maybe you are all sort of like best friends. nothing is wrong with that. i mean to know you guys can all hang out and trust each other is good. i mean there's no law that says you can only have one best friend.

it is so not weird for not having a best friend because most often you can call some one your best friend but then they will turn their backs on you and hurt your feeling. i don't have a best friend because of that and I'm proud of it. sometimes they can just hurt you and you wont no about it...

I am sort of like that to..... I dont have any best friends and not really any good aquaintences either.Iam perfectly happy. I dont think it is a problem.=)

No it isn't, every one isn't your best friend. So wait on it don't rush it that person will come along soon enough. Right now be happy with what you have . Its better to have apples than lemons. (no sugar added) <) ; - }

no of corse its not really a big deal... you just like them all i guess. lol. i dont have a best friend but i have alot of GOOD friends. its perfectly fine not to have a best friend. life has been good for my years without a best friend. all my friends are my good friends because just like you i dont have a best friend. but i have a girlfriend but i guess that doesnt fall under "best" but i love her like a best friend
