Oooh, this is a shake up in my household. I think she'd do just fine (my husband thinks quite contrary). She's probably the best woman president America could have at this time.
Hillary has history in politics and fully knows what is expected of her. I'm not sure if I would support a woman as a president but Hillary would be the leading candidate.
As a republican woman myself, I may consider her sharpness when I vote in 2008.
GOOD QUESTION!

We may very well have one, agree or not. I do think Hillary Clinton is an excellent candidate for President. She's brilliant, formidable, well versed on the military, and she knows exactly what she's getting into. She's a hawk, and in this world atmosphere we can't afford to have a dove in office. I believe she would exhaust all diplomacy if time warranted before striking, and if time weren't available for that she would strike militarily and competently if it were required. She is well respected by her peers and she garnered a great deal of even the Republican vote in the mid-terms in New York. I think she can rise above the yammering of the Hillary-haters, mostly because all they ever drone on about are things they can't prove. Her only failing is that she is not the warm speaker her husband was, or say Obama is right now. If she can rise above that and reach people on a visceral level during the campaign she'll be hard to beat. Personally, I'm hoping for a Clinton/Obama ticket.
The Neanderthals who can't feature a woman as President are less populous than it seems I think. Those who talk stupidity about women, the Presidency and PMS are simply not very bright. As if a woman could get to the level she has and be a hormonal nightmare at the same time. Imagining Hillary being too emotional to deal with world issues is funny, to say the least. It's like imagining a male President surfing for porn while he waits for the launch codes to be confirmed.

Absolutley. It doesn't matter if you are a male, or female for that matter. If you are a good leader, then yes, a female could make a good president. In regards to Hillary, I think that she should run. I would vote for her, too. She is a political genious. She handles public pressure well and knows what the people want. In addition, she knows the White House in and out having lived there for 8 years. She could do an OUTSTANDING job. I hope Barack Obama decides to slow down a little. He and Hillary would make a great ticket. That being Barack Obama as Vice President.

She might run, but she won't be elected. This country is just not ready for a female president. Unfortunately, I do not think she could do any worse than George W

I don't care if the president is a hermaphroditic blue midget as long as they uphold the Constitution and share a good chunk of my political ideology.

Could she do any worse than the fool that currently has the job? C'mon even Barney or Miss Beazley, Bush's dogs, could do a better job than he is.
Isn't it time we came out of the 19th century and elected a woman president? Other countries have them and have had them and they haven't been destroyed. One of the greatest Prime Ministers Israel ever had was a woman, Golda Meier (or however you spell it). How many women are CEO's of major corporations in this country? Its time we had a woman president, but I doubt I'll see one in my lifetime if I live to be 100.
