many friends. Why is it that those of us who set people straight, are disliked and they are afraid to say anything to you and would rather go behind your back because they are cowards. This is a tough world. Everyone better learn how to survive.

In this world today, you will have to be like that because people will walk all over you. And your friends, don't worry about them because you will know who your true friends are. You and I are in the same situation, because I don't bite my tongue either. If there is something that I want to say, I will say it, regardless who it hurts or anything of that nature. People will talk about others behind their backs, but that's OK. It just shows us what kind of person they really are. I'm not here on earth to make friends, and it doesn't bother me if I'm liked or disliked. No one can change who we are. I've been used, taken for granted, taken on a long ride, walked on stepped on, and just thrown away like trash. That's when enough was enough. That's when I took my stand. And now I lay down for no one. Just imagine if there were more people in this world like you and I, standing strong, and not backing down on anything, this world would be a better place.

It's a lot tougher alone. Do you thing that setting people straight makes the world easier for the people around you. In general people don't like being judged by friends. Many workers spend all day being "set straight" by their bosses and coworkers. Who wants to get home from work only to spend time with friends who moralize and mother you????? Why don't you try keeping your opinions to your self unless they are asked for?? Best to start now before your are the lonely person walking down the street talking to themselves and flailing their fists at the empty air.

It doesn't make you tough or a straight up person to always speak your mind. It makes you a jerk and that's why people don't want to be around you. You're doing more than just being honest. You're going out of your way "to tell it like it is" no matter how people may feel or when it's more than likely even necessary. It's not about lying it's about having tact and knowing what's appropriate when. People don't always want to know how you feel or what you think and they don't have to.

Thats who they are. THe world is made up of different people. you just have to accept it and live life. Having too much pride in yourself can also make you seem stuck up, snobby, arrogant etc, no one likes to be around those people.

Take the time to have pride in others you will see it will take you along way.

Good luck to you.

Sometimes what you may view as constructive criticsm, or even a helpful hint towards a better someone else...Must be worded in a gentle, non-sarcastic manner. I noticed you called them cowards..Maybe they didn't want to argue with someone who thinks they know the exact route one must travel to achieve a perfect someone else! With patience, and intellect, we may over power all that stands between us and the animosity in the world.

I am the same type of person, and I have made people not too happy w/ me by just disagreeing w/ them on topics such as politics, but you know if someone doesnt like you for who you are flaws and all, are they really worth it?

You are probably misunderstood. Many strong women are. If you were a man no one would think twice about your behavior. I'm the same way but do have friends, just like me.

hey if you were my friend you could tell me what you like and dislike and i would be able to tell you the same..it would make life a lot easier than going behind your back...I would respect your opinion but i might not agree...I see nothing wrong with being outspoken as long as you arent just downright rude.....
