Body Butter is thicker than the others...so if you want to maintain that soft feeling all day body butter is your best choice, but it can be greasy so if you are wearing a lot of clothing go for the lotion or the cream....all will get rid of dry skin if you use them daily....

PEACE

Body Lotion contains more water & mineral oil. Its easy to spread consistency is good for all over moisturizing.
Body cream is sometimes in a tube or jar. Thicker than lotion. Contains more petrolatum and is thicker. It is good for drier areas of the body. It generally costs more than lotion.
Body Butter is the thickest. Contains ingredients such as petrolatum, shea butter, mineral oil, olive oil, urea or lanolin. These are the thickest out of the 3 types- can clog pores..best used on elbows, hands or knees.

I think body cream and body butter are thicker in consistency than lotion. Beware of cream and butter; they can clog your pores. Unless your skin is very dry, I would recommend using lotion.

I happen to think the body butter works best, but I don't really know what's different between them.
