Those females need to grow up, some look at financial side of things. Some the baby mama drama, some make that decisions because of pass personal experience. Some don't like the emotional baggage if they have not been married. Some already have enough kids. Being divorce and having a kid or kids is alot for anyone to take on. Guys too are bias, they do the same thing.

Its not you hon...a child also comes with a mom. There are some women who dont want to get involved with "the ex" and all the drama that can go with it. Some also do not want to be responsible for someone elses child. In the future, be upfront that you have children and that you are divorced. Dating is about finding the right mix for everybody. Its a little harder when you have children because there are additional needs in the relationship, but its not impossible. Good Luck.

If it keeps happening, it might be the timing involved. I've met men with children before, and the ones who told me upfront were the ones I respected. I wouldn't want to find that out a few dates later when my judgment could be clouded by attraction. I did end up dumping one of those men, but not because of his son (who lived with him).

Your child's age may be a factor as well, if he is young. I have no children by choice, and if I were involved with someone who is a father, that child and his mother would be a part of my life also. And to be honest, if it got to the point of marriage, it would irritate me that part of his time and finance were being spent elsewhere. One thing you have to your advantage is that your son probably does not live with you, so you may have the upper hand to a woman in your situation.

Why not seek out women with children who understand your plight?

Tell them up front. If you lie about it they'll dump you. If you're not lying then be glad they dump you as a gf and not a wife... Oh, and don't introduce son and gf until it's serious because that really sucks for the kid. Just experience talking

But really, I don't know why women are like that. Why did men run when they found out I had a daughter? I think it was cause it takes away the spontaneity of the relationship maybe. They can't do things at the drop of a hat anymore...they have to plan around this smaller person needs and schedule instead. A lot of people can't/ won't voluntarily do that.
Unfortunately, they miss out on some of the most dependable caring people that way:)
Keep looking, you'll find one that wants you both:) I was the first single mother that my husband dated and he fell hook, line and sinker for both of us:) That's the kind of girl you want to find:)

I wouldn't and I'm sure a lot of women wouldn't, as well. If they dump you when they find that out, then don't worry about them because your son is a part of you. If they don't want to accept that, then they don't accept you. Maybe the women that left did not want to be apart of such a responsibility or don't want any dealings with what we call "baby momma drama". Don't worry, the right one will come along.

They are losers!!!! You need someone who cares about you and will include your son into the relationship when the time is right!! You aren't looking for the right kind of people if they are dumping you over that!!!

they get jumpy cause they're worried about being weighed down with a kid and dealing with an exwife when at this time they more interested in going out.

Next time when talking about everything you like to do, mention your son and how you work your life around it. Also that your not just hunting for a replacement mother.

Because they are STUPID!!!!!!anyone who dumps someone who has a child is selfish I think....I am a single mom wish I were closer we could meet up!!!!!I wish you the best of luck and oh try telling girls about your child even before you go on a date...try somthing like.....well I have a son who is everything to me and just let girls know that upfront!!!!I wouldnt have an issue with it!!!Its just plain selfishness to me....

I have no idea, it would be a turn on in my opinion to find a responsible, caring man who has custody of his child. Try dating a single mom, they go through the same thing so I'm sure she wouldn't be scared off by your son.
