My friend wanted to help me install a graphics card on my pc, in the end he did not. Instead, he disabled my onboard intel video. I can install the game i used to play last time on this pc, but i cannot play it now. He asked me to download the driver from intel.com, but i'm not sure which is the one. Please Help.

Ok, here we go, on your start menu RIGHT click on My Computer, choose the last item, Properties. A block will appear called System Properties, click on the Hardware Tab, then choose Device Manager. It will show you all the hardware in your computer, including your graphics card. Your graphics card is listed under Display Adapters. Click on the + next to it and it will tell you what model number your Intell graphics card is, now you can go to Intel.com and get the right one. Option two, if you want to you can right click on your graphics card entry, and choose Update Driver. Option three, if you want to just get back your old driver, Right click on the graphics card, choose Properties. Click on the Drivers Tab, and select Roll Back Driver, this should restore the old driver that worked with your game. Chow

1st you must idenify your intell chipset.Intel has a download that will do this for you.

http://downloadfinder.intel.com/scripts-df-external/Support_Intel.

Get the chipset identification utility. Once you id your chipset get the correct graphics driver there. Just type graphic drivers in the search box where you are & it'll take you to a page of drivers. Select yours. I recomend reading the release notes prior to instlling the driver in case there are any issues specific to your chipset. Good luck.
