OK...what kind of material is your jacket made of? And what kind of stain remover did you use?

This information will be useful when giving an answer. If it is a dark blue jean material, you may just be SOL. But if it is a dark blue cotton/poly mix then you may be in luck. Get yourself some dark blue Rit dye, and mix a small amount in a bowl. CAREFULLY dab a rag that you don't care about being destroyed into the dye and dab the spot that was wrecked. Blend as well as you can and just let it sit on the spot for an hour or so. Then rinse the spot with cold water. Hopefully this helps.....I'd really like that other info, though........

Sounds like the stain remover also bleached away the color in which case you have a problem. Is your jacket washable, made of cotton hopefully. If it is there are dyes you can pick up at health food stores that work very well. If it's not you will have to check with a dry cleaner, see if they have any solutions.

The stain remover probably took the color right out of the jacket, you might have to wash the whole thing in stain remover and hope it ends up an even color.

You can try Rit fabric dye (any major drugstrore chain or Walmart, Target, etc).
They make it in different colors so you might be able to match it.
Or if its the right style, you could cover the ruined part with a funky patch or something.

Good luck!!
