we are looking for something to do, we are going out this new years eve for the first time in almost 6 years (since the kids have been born) without them and the two of us are young but not into the bar/club scene.. What else is there to do? I am 27 she is 28, we live in NJ not a fan of NYC around that time we both did that when we were younger, just looking for ideas.

Take her out for a nice meal and then go somewhere pretty for a while. Watch the stars together, go for a drive, or for a walk. Go to the beach if you are close enough, it'll be cold but you can cuddle. Finish up the night in a nice hotel room by yourselves. If you have more than one child under six you know you need it. In the morning, go out for brunch and then head home to your family.

go rent a hotel room buy some bubbly and watch the countdown on tv then enjoy the time you got to yourselves without fear that one of the kids will get up and walk in on you :)
