Let's say, I posted my resume on a job search website. One day someone gives me an email says, "Hey, I'm interested in you and would like to talking to you!!"... How can I find out whether this is a real offer or not?? If I can't find any information about this company on the Internet or anywhere, should I not trust this person? Could anyone give me good suggestions using online job search service?

All the interest expressed as the result of posting my resume on job sites was less than useful. You are going to attract predators and con-men. Security experts write in articles that it is best not to post resumes or personal information on the Internet.

Beware. If they will not tell you what the job is, the name of the company and the physical address of their offices, then they are bogus and you could potentially be in a very dangerous situation.

Let us just say no deal is best without a deed. Those are sites with a mission, you are one of a million. I ignore those - most try to suck you into an investment. Never go with those.... unless you have a trusty source. Try these:
www.indeed.com
www.monster.com
or hey, try this website... they will list job sites and advice.

Either way, update your resume and keep on keeping on!!!!!!!!!!!!! It will come.

FYI, I would recommend shooting resumes to any or all that you'd be right for. Many a man has received an offer without the degree - or the gumption. Have faith in your experience and let it count. Degree or not - APPLY even if they ask for more than you have!

Good Luck!

no I dont think I would trust that one, red flag if you cant find them at all. I go to hotjobs or I go to the classifieds paper and look up jobs. really I think the best way to look for a job now is to do it the old fashioned way and get a paper. it is the safest and most accurate in my opinion. good luck to you I to am searching

if all they say is "Hey, I'm interested in you and would like to talking to you" forget it and move on..beware of scams that want to send you money and then want you to send part of it to a foreign country. The checks, money orders, bank drafts etc are all bogus and you'll end up paying ...Notify your local police if you get this kind of offer. here's a link to find out more about scams http://www.onguardonline.gov/crossborder.html
