Hello maria,

I went to the Veo Stingray web cam web site and there isn't anything there under the Minimum System Requirements that mentions a Macintosh.

http://www.veo.com/Stingray/default.asp

Most USB web cams are simply too slow to work well with your Macintosh and will not work with your iChat software. Apple has always wanted you to use a firewire camera, either an Apple iSight camera or a digital video camera with a firewire attachment to your Macintosh.

I have a USB web cam and the image blinks on and off using Y!M on my Macintosh. It's just too much information trying to flow through a slow USB attachment. Fortunately, you haven't paid very much for your camera. You need to look carefully at stuff you are going to buy for your Macintosh (or any computer for that matter) to make sure that it's compatible.

Sorry about that.
