There can be no proof. There is no guarantee that Canada will never be attacked. Just like every other country in the world.

Well most of the land is not settled, so there are massive forests, if the Canadian military were to go to guerilla warfare it would reek havoc among invading troops, the cold would also act as a deterent because hell just look at Germany's failed invasion of Russia, and with such a huge amount of land it would be very hard to track down and pinpoint any specific person such as the president. The biggest proof to show that no one would attack Canada is that Canada hasn't done no harm to no one else and so no one has reason to attack them.

That is not entirely correct.During the world war two the Japanese
did contemplate plans to hit at Canada. The Canadians were blissfully unaware of potential threats from Japan. The Japanese
wanted a way to strike at Canadian timber resources and in fact a carrier based raid was considered.Luckily for Canada they did not have sufficient fuel. The reason why no country would probably
attack Canada is that it has a rather large neighbour called the U.S.A.

Canada is a good country their citizens are not trigger happy and well behaved they have carefully screened immigrant and taken the best. they are not greedy and do not rob other country's wealth. they mind their their own business. there are many french people there who have taught the population about romance and love. They basically do not have enemies due to the above mentioned behavior. Even if any body comes to attack he wiil change his and fall in love with this majestic country and eventually migrate or ask for assylum. If there is god in North America then it is in Canada and if there is a Devil in N A then u know where he is.

Easy...we are the anti-America. We have all the same benefits and in some cases more than our neighbour to the south. We don't flaunt it (we are not neutral, as one poster put it. We were in WW2 long before the States came along) we are more humble, well respected and admired on the world stage. Besides as long as the US is willing to spend 30 cents out of every $1 on the military (2007) projections. We can continue to enjoy our high standard of living, health care and education and let them protect us. No country would dare....it would be too close to home for the US.

Suppose, a foreign government decided to attack Canada. They would need to start "conditioning" their citizens for war, using mass media to incite their citizens. Since, Canada, in my opinion, has a history of global respect and appeal; there is no country on earth that could misled enough of its' people to garner the support needed for such a folly and the world would line up against such a regime, immediately.

First of all I am Canadian and proud of it. Some of you Americans are ignorant as to what we have. We have a health care system that works, we have less than half the debt per person of what the US has and we keep our noses out of other countries affairs.

We pride are quite similar to the Australians and New zealanders as we are all peaceful nations and we still outrank the United States as a country that others will immigrate to. We are number six and the United States is number ten.

In the words of Robin Williams. "Canada is like an apartment over a huge party (America)" Besides the fact they are anti- death penalty, they know how to keep their noses out of people's business. Another reason, I've heard it's too cold and that there are too many trees. Next thing you know, we will be attacking them for water seeing how we are melting their ice caps and all.
