ATP or Heat?? In Microbiology

The body of an organism uses the enengy from sugars and fats to produce ATP. ATP is the source of energy for all reactions in your body. However, most of the reactions in your body release heat as a by product which warms your body. Your body must maintain a certain range of temperature in order for reactions to take place at a fast enough speed for life to occur. So, i would say ATP is the storage source, because heat is more of a byproduct
