Hi...I purchased a song from a website but it's come to me in video format, and I want to have a copy of just the song...quality not that important. Can I play the song from the video file and record the sound at the same time so I have it in a sound format instead of video format? And if yes, how do i do it? Thanks

Hi. I had a program called "Silent Bob" that did just what you're looking to do. Do as search. I found this site. : http://www.softsland.com/SilentBob_basic.html

Well, I don't know if the Recorder on Windows will do it, but, you can get software that does. I use RealTek AC97, and all you have to do is set the Recorder to get ready to record, then press record and play on your file. It will only record the sound. But, you have to have the recorder set so that it is recording the computer's sound and not an outlet, but most come like that when you get the software.

Search on Yahoo for Sound Recorder Download
