If you wanna download by "iTunes" you have to pay. But you can also download songs from p2p programs such as Ares or Limewire and open them with the iTunes program and you'll have those for free.

Downloading music is illegal!!!

Yes, you need to pay for music everywhere you download music. If you don't pay for music and download "free" music from sites such as Limewire, that is illegal and is considered stealing.

downloading music from lime wire is free and is NOT illegal becuase it is considered file sharing, that's why the feds can't shut them down. You can download the music from Lime Wire and them open the file up into itunes and then transfer it onto your ipod.

No, You can use another free site such as limewire or kazaa and then you can transfer those files into your itunes to get it into your ipod

I have frostwire. you pay a one time fee and you can download as many songs as you want. some sites you have to pay .99 per song.

You can and should (thats legal). But for some people thats hundreds of dollars. And they get it from other places like Limewire.
