Chicago's up-in-arms about the game being moved to primetime... personally, my family will always choose football over any other plans....thoughts?

That does suck that NBC moved the game to such a late time.

The reason for people being upset was that this game was moved just this last Monday (i.e. last minute) after many Bears fans had made New Year Eve plans (afterall the Bears have nothing to play for this week and so many thought this wouldn't be in the running for NBC game of the week).

Personally, I would go see the game because it could be Favre's last game and also because you are seeing on of the best teams in the NFL and the Bears would appriciate you being there.

Remember, it isn't every season your football team has the #1 seed and a legit shot at the super bowl. Whereas, New Years Eve will come around every year.

Hands down.
DA BEARS first.
Everything else just falls into place.
Seriously, the game will be off with plenty of time left to celebrate the New Year.
This isn't a regular game (as you are aware of), this is possibly Favre's last game and Da Bears are at home. Season finale before the playoffs against Chicago's most hated rival!
The oldest rivalry in the history of the NFL.

Best of luck to you and your family.
Happy New Year!

Oh,.....by the way..............I didn't come to start no trouble,...............I just came to do the SUPER BOWL SHUFFLE!!!

new years, birthday, and football all the same weekend for me..

i'm not going anywhere.. gonna be glued to my 5 tv sets to watch as many games as possible, both NFL and NCAA Bowls.

Chicago fans don't need to worry. this is a meaningless game for them.. they will probably rest their starters and save them for the play offs..

go out and party if you'd prefer to do so. this game is not a must-see.
